Santa Barbara City Fire put out kitchen fire Friday

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Santa Barbara City Fire put out a kitchen fire at 619 Kentia Avenue just after 2:00 p.m. Friday.

Four fire engines, a ladder truck and an ambulance all saw heavy smoke from the front of the apartment when they arrived, according to the SBCFD.

Fire crews then entered and quickly put out the fire within the next hour, limiting damage to just the kitchen, according to the SBCFD.
