Watch Parties Win during World Cup Final

VENTURA, Calif. (KEYT) FIFA final watch parties at local bars and businesses happened indoors and out.

Some people watched on movie-sized screen like the screen in the Ventura Harbor.

Others crowded into their favorite bars and restaurants.

Aqua Beachfront Bar in the Crown Plaza saw a major boom in business on Sunday.

Spain fans seemed to be outnumbered, but never gave up hope.

Even the bartenders appeared to enjoyed watching it while they worked.

"It has been really good it has been bringing everybody together it bring s families together everybody is really family friendly and i love that we all get together and share the joy of soccer," said Kat Tafoya.

'It has been a great game, I really think Spain is going to win and I do think Spain is going to make it," said Ivan Escobar moments before Spain made the only goal of the match.

In Santa Barbara, Argentina fans lined up to cheer on their team at Buena Onda Empanadas restaurant.

Although it wasn't their day, they felt pride for the players and the country.

Businesses up and down the coast considered the World Cup great for business and will miss the matches.
