Santa Maria Police seek more info on two arson incidents

SANTA MARIA, Calif. (KEYT) – Santa Maria Police are looking for new information on two arson incidents at separate apartment complexes just after 2:30 a.m. this morning.

The first arson incident occurred at the Twin Palms Apartments, where SMPD officers assisted in evacuating residents before Santa Maria Fire crews extinguished the fire.

A second potential arson came about an hour later at the St. Clair apartments, where SMPD officers again evacuated residents before SMFD crews put the flames out.

SMPD officers now seek more information or potential leads on the incidents and ask the public to contact either them or the city Fire Department if available.
