Two people arrested Monday in connection with stabbing at Santa Barbara City College

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) – On Monday, two people were arrested in connection a stabbing on the East Campus of Santa Barbara City College earlier this month.

On Feb. 23, around 7:30 p.m., two people, an 18-year-old Santa Barbara County man and a male juvenile, were arrested in Ventura in connection with the stabbing at Santa Barbara City College on February 18 stated a press release Tuesday from the Santa Barbara Police Department.

The 18-year-old was booked at the Ventura County Jail for felony assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy and he is being held in custody under a bail enhancement of $250,000 shared the Santa Barbara Police Department.

The male juvenile was booked into the Santa Barbara County Juvenile Hall for felony assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy in connection with the earlier stabbing noted Santa Barbara Police Department.

While the incident earlier this month is considered by local police to be an isolated incident and not connected to the shooting on Feb. 20 of this year that resulted in the death of Luis Gerardo Terrazas, further investigation is being conducted to determine whether the stabbing is gang related explained the Santa Barbara Police Department.
