(KEYT) - It wasn't easy for Dos Pueblos to remain undefeated in the Channel League but rivalry games are rarely straightforward. DP scored 4 times in the top of the eighth inning to outlast San Marcos in extra innings 5-2 to move to 7-0 in league while the Royals are 4-3. Idaho State-bound Anastasia Brunner snapped a scoreless tie in the sixth inning with a solo home run and then broke a 1-1 tie in the 8th with a single to left field. Brooklyn Hedricks added a 2-run single in the extra frame to put the Chargers up 5-1. Reese Large led off the bottom of the eighth inning with a solo home run to left field. The Royals would bring up the tying run to the plate before Emily Morici wrapped up her complete game win with her 14th strikeout.
