(KEYT) – Two people were transported from the scene of a three-vehicle collision Thursday morning at the intersection of Highway 46 and Union Road. According to Paso Robles Police, dispatchers received a call about a multi-vehicle collision with injuries around 5:21 a.m. Thursday morning. Arriving officers found a three-vehicle collision had occurred on eastbound Highway 46 and vehicles were blocking traffic in both directions detailed the Paso Robles Police Department in a press release Thursday. Two people inside one of the vehicles needed help from first responders to exit their vehicle and both of them were transported from the scene for further medical treatment noted the Paso Robles Police Department. The extent of their injuries has not been publicly released, but no other involved people required medical transport shared the Paso Robles Police Department. The collision is currently under investigation and anyone with more information is asked to contact the Paso Robles Police Department at 805-237-6464.
