One person injured after collision between semi truck and military vehicle on southbound Highway 101 Thursday

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – One person was transported with minor injuries after a collision between a military vehicle and a semi truck on southbound Highway 101 Thursday.

The injured person was the driver of the military vehicle shared the San Luis Obispo County Fire Deprtment.

According to the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department, the traffic collision on southbound Highway 101 is at TV Tower Road, north of San Luis Obispo city limits and crews are working to move the damaged military vehicle blocking a lane out of the roadway.

Drivers are asked to use caution as one lane is closed and responders are still working the scene added the county fire department.

Caltrans was summoned to the scene for notable damage to the Highway's guardrail noted the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department.
