Special Weather Statement issued April 11 at 9:50PM PDT by NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA

At 949 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers moving
across northwestern San Luis Obispo County. Movement was northeast
at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. While not likely, there is a
remote possibility for a brief, weak tornado to develop.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Cambria…
and Lake Nacimiento.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
