(KEYT) – Fire teams are on the scene of a small vegetation fire near the Reagan Presidential Library on Presidential Drive in Simi Valley Monday. According to the Ventura County Incident Dashboard, the Reagan Library is currently under an evacuation order as crews battle the nearby flames. The evacuation order, issued at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon, only applies to the grounds of the Reagan Presidential Library and not the surrounding neighborhoods at this point in the response. Crews stopped the forward progress of the fire at five to seven acres without threats to structures just after 2:30 p.m. This is an evolving fire response and more information will be added to this article as it is received.
