Warm Thursday, cooling trend begins

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Warm and sunny conditions continue Thursday though temperatures will be cooling off through the weekend.

Onshore winds will be increasing, dropping temperatures by about 5 degrees along the coast.

Heat alerts remain in effect through Thursday evening.

Temperatures will start to near normal by Friday or Saturday as coastal clouds return for the weekend.

There will be a slight boost in temperatures early next week but we will mostly remain in the 70s.
