Cooldown Friday, tracking more clouds

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Heat relief arrives Friday with a 5 to 10 degree drop in temperatures.

Onshore flow will come back strongly with the return of clouds Friday and into the weekend.

This cooling trend will help bring temperatures back to near normal for the weekend.

Tropical Storm Elidia will move northwest over the Pacific, and that brings some humidity and 10 percent chance of showers by Sunday.

Another warming trend and more tropical impacts are possible next week.
