Revindex Catalog and Product Portfolio Builder

Build the catalog in the same hierarchy used by Revindex: choose an industry, add offering categories, add products to one or more categories, define product variants, inventory, and pricing, then export the related Revindex import entities.

2Add offering categories
3Add or edit products
4Configure variants

Catalog Scenario

Default Inventory

Inventory is exported by ProductVariantKey and WarehouseKey. Each variant can override its inventory quantity.

2. Available Offering Categories

Add the categories that this organization actually offers. Categories become Revindex category records under the selected industry.

Selected Offering Categories

Open a category to manage its products, or remove it from the profile. Removing a category deletes products assigned only to that category and preserves products that also belong to other categories.

3. Products

Open a selected offering category to see its default products.

Products in the Active Offering Category

A product can belong to multiple categories. Opening a product reveals all category relationships, its default category, variants, pricing, and inventory.

4. Product and Variant Details

The product record and all related Revindex entities are edited here.

Common and Custom Variant Groups

Examples include Size, Color, Form Factor, Room Type, Service Level, License, Date, or Delivery Format.

Product Variants

Revindex requires at least one variant for every product. Fixed prices or formulas can be used. Formula variables: base, cost, margin, and index.

5. Revindex Import Mapping and Export

The export creates separate files for Revindex Category, Product, Product Category, Product Variant, Product Variant Group, Product Variant Group Option, Product Variant Option, and Product Inventory entities. A Product Category row is created for every category assigned to a product, with one relationship marked as the default.

Loading CSV files exported from the target Revindex installation lets this app preserve that installation's exact header order. Built-in headers are used when templates are not supplied.

No catalog validation has been run.

Tax Policy and Jurisdiction Intelligence

Model destination-based sales tax and select a tax-service approach. Planning estimates are not production tax determinations; live checkout should use an authoritative provider or approved tax engine.
