But just a freshman Morici pitched a complete game shutout striking out 11 batters as Dos Pueblos blanked Crescenta Valley 5-0 in a first round CIF-Southern Section Division 3 playoff game.

The Chargers will play at La Salle in the second round in a game that has been moved to Monday rather than Saturday because of field concerns.

DP scored all five of their runs in a sloppy third inning for the Falcons.

Brooklyn Hedricks hit a line drive to center field that went off the glove of the outfielder allowing two runs to score.

El presidente Donald Trump lleva mucho tiempo intentando presentarse como una especie de hombre fuerte frente a China, pero su retórica dura y sus guerras comerciales a menudo se ven socavadas por su notable actitud conciliadora hacia Xi Jinping.

Y ese enfoque más conciliador quedó plenamente de manifiesto durante la visita de Trump a Beijing esta semana.

El viaje de Trump —y sus comentarios al final del mismo— incluyen algunas concesiones, tanto retóricas como reales, al Gobierno chino.

Además, el presidente se retractó explícitamente de promesas de campaña anteriores de adoptar una postura firme contra China.

Taiwán fue quizás el tema más destacado. Es un asunto delicado para cualquier presidente, dadas las políticas estadounidenses tan matizadas respecto a su independencia (la política de “una sola China”) y su defensa frente a China (“ambigüedad estratégica”).
