Un hombre sospechoso de amenazar con un cuchillo a un empleado de una tienda en Indio fue arrestado ayer, cuando los oficiales respondieron al reporte del incidente a las 10:25 de la mañana en la tienda Circle K en el área de Indio Boulevard y la calle Fred Waring, donde un sujeto intento agredir al empleado después de que le pidieran que se retirara de la gasolinera, por fortuna nadie resultó herido y el individuo fue detenido minutos después muy cerca del negocio

Una persona murió en un choque de seis vehículos que involucró a un camión de carga en Freeway 10, cerca de la calle Washington en Thousand Palms,El accidente ocurrió ayer a las 7:50 de la mañana, cuando un semai se desvió hacia la izquierda por razones desconocidas y choco contra varios vehículos antes de cruzar el divisor central hacia los carriles contrarios donde se estrelló con otro vehículo y un camión cargado de cemento, cuyo chofer murió al instante, mientras que otras seis personas resultaron heridas y fueron transportados a diferentes hospitales cabe mencionar que varios carriles fueron cerrados durante cuatro horas.

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – A magnitude 3.2 earthquake was recorded Wednesday morning southeast of Cuyama.

The image below shows the epicenter of the earthquake as the orange circle which was recorded at 7:51 a.m. local time and about 8.8 kilometers deep shared the U.S. Geological Survey.

The U.S. Geological Survey also shared a rough estimate of how far shaking associated with the earthquake reached in the image below. The lighter the blue lines, the less shaking was likely felt.

The image below shows the location of Wednesday's earthquake relative to major and minor plate boundaries.

The thick red line running along the length of the image is the San Andreas Fault and more information about the transform plate boundary can be found here as well as in the images below.
